Overview

Druid.tv is a web-site which permits authorised users to share their home-brewed video or audio media via Video Podcast feed. It differs from most Video Podcasts, in that it supports BitTorrent technology, which forms an ad-hoc Peet-to-Peer distributed sharing network. This means that high demand, large files download much quicker than if centrally hosted. Users who download videos, are automagically helping others do the same.

DruidWiki's Involvement

Apart from the sites sharing the same creators, the DruidWiki embraces the GNU Free Documentation License, whereas Druid.tv embraces the Creative Commons license. As Druid.tv aims to be a media outlet for the whole community, the DruidWiki has, and will continue to submit media to Druid.tv.

It's highly likely, that should Druid.tv gain a community behind it, submitting and proliferating material, that this media outlet will gain an Internet radio station (via SHOUTcast). With past shows being made available via podcasts.
